Blaser Metallbau AG attaches great importance to reliability and punctuality. Increasing digitalisation and mobility required the creation of an IT environment that is flexible and efficient, regardless of where the employees are located, especially in the area of CAD design. Due to the restructuring at Blaser Metallbau and the departure of the person responsible for setting up the entire IT environment, a great deal of IT expertise was lost, including in the area of IT security - a critical factor for SMEs. Added to this was the pending renewal of the entire server environment. However, this situation gave Blaser Metallbau AG the opportunity to overhaul and modernise its IT infrastructure from the ground up. The focus was on the requirements for 3D CAD performance, mobility and scalability in order to ensure reliable and location-independent CAD design.

Solution

With the IT transformation to our Business Cloud, MTF was able to implement a flexible and powerful solution at Blaser Metallbau AG that fulfils the demanding, resource-intensive requirements of 3D CAD applications. As a result, Blaser Metallbau AG is now able to work and draw from any location with minimal internet bandwidth and any end device - whether on the construction site for direct collaboration with customers or in the home office. The highly secure private MTF Business Cloud impresses with its performance, comparable to a locally installed workstation, eliminating the need to purchase costly CAD workstations.
