INNOVATIVE COMPLETE SOLUTION FOR THE PERFECT DIGITALISATION 

CHALLENGE

The existing IT infrastructure on site could no longer meet the requirements of a transformation to digitalised operations. Nevertheless, further investments in the expansion of hardware would have been necessary in order to create newly required resources. As a networked company with customer contacts to domestic and foreign companies, connections to cantonal and social networks and cross-location communication, a seamless integration of the on-site solution into the private cloud infrastructure had to be ensured. Furthermore, the required performance of the CAD environment, the comprehensive integration of the industry applications, the ERP and telephony solution were additional important requirements that had to be met.

SOLUTION

With a change of the on-prem infrastructure to our flexible and highly secure private cloud, the basis is created that enables the desired digitalisation of the company. The integration during ongoing operations could be implemented without interruption thanks to the already existing and long-standing partnership. With our Modern Workplace, the integration of the required industry applications, teams, the ERP system, telephony and the connection to the HIN doctors' network could be implemented quickly, securely and easily. The requirement for a high-performance CAD environment was also met in full. The overall solution implemented by us thus creates a uniform and modern IT system that can meet all digitalisation requirements.

 Altra Schaffhausen 

altra schaffhausen is an established company in the Schaffhausen region with around 600 employees. It is subject to the Intercantonal Agreements for Social Institutions (IVSE). For the integration and training of people with disabilities, altra schaffhausen maintains sheltered workplaces and employment centres. Furthermore, they offer assisted living places, various integration measures, job coaching and maintain an organic farm with its own organic shop and an organic market garden.
